What it's actually like to live with
The AGARO Grand 1000W is the smartest buy if you wanted a hand blender, a chopper, and a whisker anyway. Buying the three separately costs roughly Rs 4,000 to 5,000 and takes more counter space, more plug points, and more cleaning effort. The Grand bundles them at Rs 2,500 to 3,000 and saves all three.
The 1000W motor is genuine. Ice crushes in 15 to 20 seconds. Frozen banana shake takes 20 seconds. Peanuts process into chutney paste in 45 seconds. None of this is possible on a 250W or 300W model.
The two-mode dial is one of the cleaner control schemes I have used. Mode 1 covers puree, chopping, and mixing with a 1-to-5 speed regulator. Mode 2 is turbo for milkshakes and ice. After a day or two, you stop reading labels and operate by feel.
The included 900 ml beaker is useful for smoothies and the 600 ml chopping jar handles everyday onion, garlic, and ginger work. The whisker is good for cream and cake batter.
Where AGARO loses to Inalsa is durability of the plastic gear assembly inside the chopper attachment. Some heavy daily users report the inner gears wearing down after a year of frequent chopping. If you plan to chop large quantities of vegetables daily, a dedicated food processor will hold up better.
For mixed daily blending with occasional chopping, the AGARO Grand is fine. Service network covers tier 1 and most tier 2 cities adequately. AGARO is not as widely available offline as Philips or Bosch but Amazon-based service has improved. For the value of a complete kit at this price, this is one of the smartest multipurpose buys on Amazon.in.
