Editor's take
The Blueair Blue Pure 211i Max review comes down to livability. A large air purifier can be technically strong and still fail in real homes if it is too ugly, too loud, or too annoying to keep in the room. Blueair understands that better than most brands.
The washable fabric pre-filter is not just decorative. It catches larger particles and makes the purifier look less clinical in a living room. In a condo or open apartment where every appliance is visible, that matters more than spec sheets admit.
The app is useful for schedules, air quality checks, and filter tracking, but this is not the model we would buy for smart-home depth alone. We would buy it because it combines high airflow, quiet lower-speed behavior, and a softer room presence than most large-room competitors.
