What it's actually like to live with
The CMF Buds Pro 2 is the audiophile's pick in this segment and it is not even close. The dual-driver setup - an 11mm dynamic driver handling bass and a 6mm micro-planar tweeter for highs - creates instrument separation that single-driver earbuds simply cannot replicate. Pair that with LDAC at 990kbps on an Android phone, fire up a well-mastered track, and you will hear details that were always there but hidden behind Bluetooth compression.
The smart dial on the case is a genuinely clever touch - adjusting volume without fumbling with touch controls on the earbuds themselves is a small luxury that feels natural within days. The 50dB ANC is competitive for Indian commuting conditions, handling auto-rickshaw engines and office chatter effectively.
The honest gotcha is fit - the nozzle shape does not suit every ear canal, and you may need to try all included ear tips before finding your seal. A poor seal kills both ANC and bass performance. Also, LDAC mode cuts battery life noticeably, so the rated numbers drop in real-world Hi-Res listening.
At Rs 2,299 during sales, this is remarkable engineering for the money.
