What it's actually like to live with
The Livpure Fenix 60 is a surprisingly strong contender that many buyers overlook because Livpure is better known for water purifiers than chimneys.
But the specs tell a compelling story - 1400 m3/hr suction and a 10-year motor warranty at Rs 8,500-10,000 is a combination that Faber and Elica charge significantly more for. The T-shape design is not just aesthetics - the wider flat hood genuinely captures smoke better in open kitchen layouts where fumes drift sideways before rising.
This matters in modern Indian apartments where the kitchen opens directly into the living area. The dual LED lamps are brighter than most, making late-night cooking more comfortable.
The honest concern is after-sales service. Livpure is still building their chimney service network, so if you are in a tier-2 or tier-3 city, confirm local service availability before buying. In metros like Delhi, Mumbai, and Bangalore, service is generally accessible. The T-shape does protrude more from the wall, so measure your kitchen space carefully - it needs about 4-5 inches more depth than a standard curved chimney.
For open kitchens in metro apartments, this is a hidden gem.
