Editor's take
The Sharp DW-P10M-W review India buyers need is really a question of priorities. On paper, a 10L dehumidifier in this price band looks expensive. HINISO sells a smart 10L model for less, and Lifelong sells a 12L model in a similar entry band. Sharp's argument is not raw value. It is brand trust, Plasmacluster positioning, and a more premium small-room ownership story.
The 10L/day rating makes it best for closed bedrooms, walk-in wardrobes, small studies, and nursery rooms. It is not the machine for a large hall, and it is not the appliance I would buy for daily laundry drying. Use it where moisture control, odour management, and quiet routine matter more than fast bulk water removal.
Plasmacluster support is the differentiator. It is not the same as True HEPA purification, but it does give the appliance a better air-freshness angle than most plain compressor dehumidifiers. In a closed bedroom that smells stale through monsoon, that matters. In a Delhi pollution scenario, it does not replace a proper purifier.
The 2.5L tank is ordinary for the price. For short bedroom cycles, it is fine. For longer damp-room sessions, you should use the drain connection if your setup allows it. The lack of WiFi is also disappointing in 2026, especially when cheaper competitors offer app control. Sharp is relying on appliance trust rather than smart-home features.
This model is easiest to recommend to buyers who already like Sharp air purifiers, want a compact machine, and do not mind paying extra for brand confidence. If your buying decision is mostly price and features, HINISO makes more sense. If your decision is bedroom comfort, brand trust, and a premium small-room feel, the DW-P10M-W earns its place.
