What it's actually like to live with
The Qubo Q200 is a standout because it brings smart purifier features down to the Rs 5,000 price point. While competitors at this range offer basic manual controls, the Qubo connects to WiFi, shows real-time PM2.5 data on its app, and lets you control settings remotely.
Being from the Hero Group (Qubo is Hero's smart home brand), it benefits from Indian engineering focused on Indian conditions. The nano-silver antibacterial layer is an addition you will not find in most competitors - it claims to neutralize bacteria on the filter surface, adding a hygiene layer beyond standard HEPA.
The 150 m3/hr CADR is the highest published CADR in this compact range, meaning it cycles air faster than competitors. For a 200 sq ft bedroom during Delhi's winter pollution, this speed matters - it can bring PM2.5 from 300+ to below 50 in about 15-20 minutes.
The app experience is basic compared to Xiaomi or Dyson's apps, but functional - you get real-time readings, filter life tracking, and on/off control. For Rs 4,999, having any smart capability at all is remarkable.
