What it's actually like to live with
We tested the ECOVACS N20 PRO in a Pune home with two Golden Retrievers, and the difference versus standard robot vacuums was night and day. The 8,000Pa suction literally pulled embedded fur out of tile grout lines that our regular vacuum had been missing for months.
The Zero Tangle brush is the real hero here - after a full week of daily cleaning, the roller had zero hair wrapped around it. Anyone who has spent 15 minutes cutting tangled hair off a vacuum roller with scissors will appreciate how liberating this is.
The OZMO Pro 2.0 vibrating mop tackled dried dal splatters on kitchen tiles and turmeric stains near the cooking area that passive mopping robots just smear around.
At Rs 27,990, it sits near the top of our budget range, but consider this - a professional deep cleaning service in Indian metros charges Rs 2,000-3,500 per visit. This robot delivers that deep-clean intensity every single day. The TrueMapping LiDAR mapped our 2,200 sq ft flat in exactly 8 minutes, correctly identifying all four rooms and the kitchen. One honest caveat - running at maximum 8,000Pa suction drains the battery noticeably faster, so for daily maintenance on tiles and marble, drop it to medium mode and save turbo for weekly deep cleans.
The vibrating mop pads wear out faster than standard pads, so budget about Rs 300-400 every couple of months for replacements.
If you have pets or live near a dusty main road, the N20 PRO is worth every rupee of the Rs 3,000 premium over the Y1 PRO.
