What it's actually like to live with
The Havells Stealth Air solves a very Indian problem - how do you give your parents or grandparents smart fan control without teaching them apps and smart speakers? The built-in voice recognition is genuinely useful. You just say 'Hello Havells' and issue a command, no internet needed. It works reliably from about 3-4 metres away in a quiet room, though it struggles with background noise from TVs or conversations.
The Sleep mode gradually reduces speed through the night, which is a thoughtful touch for Indian summers. The Breeze mode simulates natural wind patterns that feel more comfortable than a constant speed.
At 30W, it is efficient though not class-leading. The denim blue finish is a bold choice - it looks great in modern interiors but clashes with traditional decor. What you give up compared to Atomberg is the entire app ecosystem - no energy tracking, no remote control when you are away, no smart home routines.
For homes where simplicity and offline functionality matter more than app features, the Stealth Air is a genuinely smart purchase.
