What it's actually like to live with
The Orient Aeroslim IoT is the fan you buy when your living room is 150-plus sq ft and every other fan you have tried leaves dead zones. At 260 CMM, it moves a genuinely noticeable amount of air - you can feel the difference within seconds of switching from a standard fan.
The 3-level LED underlight is a nice touch for ambient evening lighting, though getting the wiring done properly requires an electrician familiar with Orient's setup. The Orient Home app works but feels a generation behind the Atomberg app in terms of UI polish and responsiveness.
Where Orient wins decisively is after-sales - their 650-city service network means you can actually get someone to your door in tier-2 and tier-3 cities where Atomberg's coverage gets patchy. The reverse rotation feature is genuinely useful during North Indian winters to push warm air down from the ceiling.
At Rs 6,500-8,000, it is a significant investment, but for large rooms in Indian homes, no other smart fan delivers this level of airflow.
