What it's actually like to live with
The Realme smart plug is an honest product that knows its limits, and that is actually refreshing. At 6A, it is rated for about 1,380W - enough for lamps, phone chargers, small fans, and set-top boxes, but nothing heavier. Realme does not pretend otherwise, and the pricing at Rs 500-800 reflects this modest capability.
If you are already in the Realme ecosystem with a Realme phone and maybe a Realme TV, the integration through the Realme Link app is seamless. Voice control through Alexa and Google works reliably for basic on-off commands and scheduling.
The compact design fits Indian sockets without any blocking issues. The reality check is that at this price, the QUBO 10A offers a higher amperage rating, energy monitoring, and Bluetooth fallback for roughly similar money.
The Realme plug's main advantage is brand familiarity for the massive Realme smartphone userbase in India.
If you already use the Realme Link app daily, adding this plug to your routine is effortless. Otherwise, the QUBO or even the Zebronics offer more features per rupee.
