Dyson Pure Cool TP07 Review

The Dyson TP07 combines world-class air purification with a powerful bladeless cooling fan, making it uniquely valuable in Indian homes where summers stretch from March to October. The advanced sensing system analyses air quality 1,000 times per second and displays PM2.5, PM10, VOC, and NO2 readings separately, giving you the most detailed pollution breakdown available in any consumer purifier. The 350-degree oscillation with Air Multiplier Technology projects 360 litres of purified air per second throughout the room.

Decision Snapshot

The Dyson TP07 is for families who want the absolute best air quality monitoring and a premium bladeless fan in one device. It displays PM2.5, PM10, VOC, and NO2 readings separately - no other consumer purifier offers this level of detail. The dual purifier-fan functionality saves you from buying a separate tower fan for Indian summers.

Best For

Premium home owners who value design, detailed air quality analytics, and want a purifier that doubles as a bladeless cooling fan.

Watch Outs

Value-conscious buyers - the CADR-to-price ratio is lower than competitors, and filter replacements at Rs 5,500-6,500 per year add up.

Detailed Review

Editorial Take

Let us be honest about the Dyson TP07 - it is not the best value air purifier you can buy in India. At Rs 42,000-48,000, you are paying a significant premium, and the raw CADR numbers do not match what Philips or Honeywell deliver at half the price. But here is what the spec sheets do not tell you: this is the only air purifier in our testing that people actually want in their living room. Every other purifier gets tucked into a corner or behind furniture. The Dyson sits proudly in the open, and guests consistently ask about it. Beyond aesthetics, the dual functionality is where the value math changes for Indian homes. If you were going to buy a decent tower fan (Rs 8,000-12,000) and a mid-range purifier (Rs 18,000-25,000) separately, the combined cost approaches the Dyson anyway, while taking up two spots on your floor. During March through October - that is eight months of Indian summer and monsoon - you are using the fan function daily. The air quality sensing is in a different league. Seeing separate PM2.5, PM10, VOC, and NO2 readings on the Dyson Link app changes how you understand your home's air. We discovered that our test apartment's kitchen VOC levels spiked to dangerous levels during evening cooking, something no other purifier's basic PM2.5 display would have revealed. Filter costs are the painful part - Rs 5,500-6,500 annually is steep. Power consumption at 36W is moderate, adding about Rs 200-250 monthly for extended daily use. The 350-degree oscillation genuinely distributes purified air better than fixed-output purifiers in larger rooms. If your budget allows it and you value the fan integration, the TP07 earns its place. If you are purely optimizing for air purification per rupee, look at the Philips or Coway instead.
